Nov 14th Thursday
If any one is thinking about having some sort of tray or place in the house for the new puppy to potty I suggest you try these pellets wood from Tractor Supply. This is the first time I tried them, wanted to see how well they worked. I have used shavings for yrs but it is messy, these pellets really work well.
When I put the pups in the basement to play, I put them to start in the shavings pen, to get them started but have found that they just can not go that far sometimes and so I end up cleaning up after them a lot usually along the fence somewhere. This time I decided to try these pellets in a tray (from an old big crate) in the corner away from everything else. They are using it a lot. Of course peeing can be anywhere but they do use the pellets sometimes. The pellets turn to what looks like dust from the urine but there is no smell. So the photos are from this morning. I left them so they could practice on the stairs while I went and cleaned up the bedroom pen. When I came out this little miss was in the kitchen 2nd girl and Teddy was sitting at the top of the steps next to the landing. They tend to want to go down to fast and because of the plastic in the middle sometimes they slide part way down at this stage/age. So I best watch them on the steps for a while yet but it is when I go down or up that they want to follow to quickly, on their own they are more careful.

Monday 4th First Trip Out side
While LeAnn was visiting we took the pups out side. The neighbor kids came over to see
them, pet them. It was a good experience for them. They also got their collars today. They
do not seem to mind them at all. None of them were the least bit afraid of anything going
on which is what I like to see.
