9-20-23 Week 7
I am working with leash training and steps this week, just a start on each. Also pups being fed in individual crates to get used to being separated when they go to new homes. They spend more time out side with the kids coming by and street noise. The mail lady stops to pet them and everyone enjoys them. Two girls still available as of today.
Melody Tovan Litter now into 6th week
I took a couple of short vids to share the pups outside just running off energy after breakfast. They are eating regular kibble with some water on it now. I feed a mix of Nutri Source Chicken& Rice and Pro Plan Salmon & Rice adult dog food. I do not feed puppy food because these foods have high enough protein levels for shelties. Large breed dogs do need puppy food since they have faster bigger grow rates and need even more protein. Here are the links to the vids on you tube.
Sept 7th
I have been taking them out side in the warm weather for short periods of time and they love it. Today being colder I have to wait a bit. The neighbors walking by come to say hi and play with them a good form of socialization, along with new noises.
Yesterday they took a car trip to a friends for a different form of socialization. The car, the crate, different people and smells.
They also got their new collars. The picture shows them in birth order so 1 is on the left looking at them. # 2 Matteo is promised and I will keep one either #1 or #5 at this time.
Number 3 is a girl 4 a boy and are available and which ever girl I do not keep.
